History of Springdale Weddings and Events
Welcome to Springdale Weddings and Events, an updated rustic retreat nestled in the scenic beauty of Western New York’s Finger Lakes Region in Victor, New York. Our story unfolds against the backdrop of a historic gem—an 1800’s Greek Revival home with eyebrow windows known for its rich heritage as the beloved “Springdale Farm Bed and Breakfast” and wedding destination through 2020.
Steeped in history and local lore, Springdale holds a special place in the hearts of many. From the legendary well that is said to have been George Eastman’s preferred drinking water to the two majestic barns. A large “Threshing Barn” with wide open space and storage areas was used for winter hay and grain storage. This barn was moved to its current location from Palmyra, NY in the 1970’s. It sits beside a fully intact Carriage Barn which has the original horse stalls and carriage bays.
The name Springdale comes from the property’s rolling glacial hills leading to a flowing spring at the bottom of the valley. Every corner of the estate tells a story of timeless charm.
